Connecting people who work on rope.

Very excited to be kicking off this years impressive lineup of speakers at the Vertical Connect Conference in Switzerland talking about the practical considerations when working at height in highly contrasting environments; Concrete jungle vs Rainforest.

The event itself is in its fourth year, bringing together professionals and enthusiasts from a multitude of rope based industries including tree care, rope access, stunt rigging, rescue, wind and offshore, mountain rescue gather to discuss current industry practices, innovations and relevant topics.

New for this year will be a series of workshops after the conference from Richard Delaney (RopeLab), Knut Foppe and Köhler Sascha among others.  For the full program of events and how to get involved see the website for details.

There will be simultaneous translation for French, German and English, good beer, great cheese, spectacular views and fantastic people.  

I cannot recommend this event more highly for anyone with an interest in a profession working on rope.
